Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your QuickSwap account and associated data. QuickSwap is owned and operated by NSTECHLABS PRIVATE LIMITED.

How to delete your account in the app

If you can still open QuickSwap on your device:

Open the QuickSwap app and sign in.
Go to You (Profile).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm the deletion when prompted (you may need to re-enter your password).

Your account sign-in and profile will be removed. You will be signed out after deletion completes.

How to request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or your account, email us from the address linked to your QuickSwap account:

Subject: QuickSwap Account Deletion Request
Include your registered name, university (if known), and the email used for QuickSwap so we can locate your account.

We aim to process email deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity.

Data that is deleted

When your account deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify:

Account profile (name, email, profile photo, university, bio)
Sign-in / authentication credentials for QuickSwap
Wishlist and similar personal preferences tied to your account
Push notification tokens associated with your account

Data that may be retained

Some information may be kept for safety, abuse prevention, legal, or accounting reasons:

Listings and photos you posted: may remain visible or be removed from live discovery; copies may be retained for a limited period for moderation history.
Chat messages and offers:may remain in other users' conversation history so their chat threads stay intact.
Reports, blocks, and safety records: may be retained to investigate abuse and protect the community.
Transaction / accounting records: limited records may be kept where required for legal or accounting purposes.

Retention period

Personal account data used for sign-in and profile is removed from our live systems when deletion is completed (in-app: promptly; email requests: within 30 days after verification).
Safety, legal, and accounting records described above may be retained for up to 12 months, or longer if required by law or an active investigation.
